Quick checks when your boiler stops working
It can be frustrating when a boiler stops working, especially during colder months. Follow these basic checks before arranging a repair.
1. Check the gas supply
See whether another gas appliance still works. If it does not, your gas supply may be interrupted. Contact your supplier or follow the National Gas Emergency guidance if you suspect a leak.
2. Check the power
A power cut or tripped circuit can stop a boiler. Check the fuse box and make sure the boiler has power.
3. Check the boiler pressure

4. Check for a frozen condensate pipe
